The Tower on the Maumee (formerly named the Fiberglas Tower) was designed by modernist architects Harrison & Abramowitz and is considered one of the best examples of mid- century modern architecture in the country. It was built as a part of I.M. Pei's Riverview Toledo Development by Columbus developer John Galbreath. The Tower on the Maumee is home to 106 high rise residential apartments, Directions Credit Union’s corporate headquarters, USI Insurance Services, and Davis University. The adjacent retail arcade is home to Balance Grille, The Flying Joe, iDance Adaptive Performing Arts Center, a Directions Credit Union branch, The Standard Crossfit, and Teddy P’s, as well as Geyde’s office.
