The Tower on the Maumee (formerly named the Fiberglas Tower) was designed by modernist designers Harrison & Abramowitz and is considered one of the best examples of Mid Century Modern Architecture in the country. It is built as a part of I.M. Pei's Riverview Toledo Development by Columbus Developer John Galbreath. The Tower on the Maumee is home to 106 high rise residential apartments, Directions Credit Union and Hanson Inc. office headquarters. The adjacent retail arcade is home to Balance Grille, The Standard CrossFit, Balance Farms, The Flying Joe Cafe, and Teddy P’s Carryout.
